This is an awesome addition to the Japanese film industry as well as to the international audiences of the popular and everlasting anime Rurouni Kenshin. The name loosely translates to “The son of the sword”. The story is rather long but long story short – the series started out as an anime (Japanese comic book series) and later adopted as a TV series. The manga stopped after a while by the TV series continued where it left off and created its own successor story arcs.
As someone who has seen the original TV series (and movie) I am interested in how the live-action version plays out. The look of Rurouni Kenshin himself looks kind of funky but I’ll hold judge till I can see the movie.
